US Demand for Household Floor Care Appliances to Reach $3.2 Billion in 2022


Cleveland, OH, August 10, 2018 — US demand for household floor care appliances is forecast to total $3.2 billion in 2022, according to Household Floor Care Appliances: United States, a report recently released by Freedonia Focus Reports. Expanding levels of disposable personal income and an increase in household formation as millennials purchase their first homes and start families will spur advances.

US demand for floor cleaners, the largest product segment, is forecast to expand to 2022. Rising disposable incomes, combined with a surge in demand from millennials and baby-boomers looking for new appliances to better suit their changing lifestyles as they transition to new life stages, will drive demand gains.
