This report forecasts to 2022 and 2026 US printing machinery and equipment demand and shipments in nominal US dollars at the manufacturer level. Total demand is segmented by product in terms of: digital presses; offset lithographic presses; flexographic presses; other printing presses, such as gravure, screen, and letterpress presses; binding machinery and equipment; and other machinery, such as prepress preparatory equipment, separately sold parts, and typesetting machinery.
To illustrate historical trends, total demand, total shipments, and the various segments are provided in annual series from 2011 to 2021.
Items excluded from the scope of this report include: 3D printers, home and office printers, packaging stamping or marking machinery, photocopiers, printing consumables, and used equipment and machinery sold 'as is'. Re-exports of printing machinery and equipment are excluded from demand figures. However, rebuilt and remanufactured printing equipment and machinery is included.
